ESO stands for „Das Elektronische Schwingkreis Orchester“.
It is the project of composer, music producer, bass player, disc jockey and journalist Joerg Henning and sound engineer, vinyl cutter and mastering specialist Frederic Stader.

For Henning this project closes a circle back to his early childhood, being raised in a house dominated by classical music and having lived through youth culture from punk and reggae to techno this album means returning to the roots of his love for music considering all aspects of his own musical journey since then.

Stader is a sought after sound professional. His work as a vinyl cutter, sound engineer and mastering specialist can be experienced on thousands of releases from Classical and Avantgarde to Rave music.
ESO actually combines the approach of a bedroom composer and a hi-end music producer in an uncommon way.

It started as a sound experiment on a grey and rainy day in spring
2016, playing around with the orchestral packs of Ableton Live.
This sound set soon became a daily routine for months.
While working on „Auf dem Strom“ the „water“ theme turned out to be the most natural overall theme for the the story of a river steadily growing on its journey from the source towards the open sea.
The composition was captured by Stader in hi-resolution. The two spread it on a mixer and ended up with this album.
